Design Features of Tubing and Casing Premium connection

1) The thread taper is 1:16, which is adopted by improved API buttress thread.

2) Metal-to-metal seal uses cylindrical and spherical seal structure type, which provides a good sealing performance.

3) It has excellent performances to resist bending, pressure and torsional.

4) It still has reliable gas sealing under an overload.

 

Operational Features of Tubing and Casing Special Premium connection

1) Easy to Make Up: it is easy to operate, which ensure make up closely by torque control.

2) Anti-sticking buckle: it allows repeated make-ups and break-outs.

3) Easy to buckle: the design facilitates easy buckling without cross-threading, for that starting thread is processed with incomplete thread form.

 

Reverse Angle Torque Shoulder

The reverse angle torque shoulder provides a positive torque stop, which allows for accurate power tight make-up and minimizes hoop stresses in the connection. The wedge effect caused by the reverse angle gives the connection a superior structural strength and greatly improves the composite loading capacity of the connection. The reverse angle torque shoulder has a better sealing compared with the conventional rectangular shoulder.
